We're still getting used to the new venue ever since PBDA had to move the Saturday night dances to the Baptist Church but it's getting a little better each week. People still gripe about the dance floor (too sticky for some people) and the sound from the stage tends to get muddled at the back of the room. I like the free parking in the garage next door and getting a glimpse of the spectacular Pasadena City Hall just down the street. We're on the edges of Old Pasadena near a Gold Line station and across the street from a bar so there are more people in the area. Some of them hear the music and come by to peek in the door.

So, on Facebook, if you had someone on your friends list, but then suddenly they aren't, and "add as friend" is an option when you look them up... is that Facebook's programming suckage or does that mean they dropped you?

I just drove by a station today that had gas for $1.79. Never thought I'd see that again in my lifetime.

I think they either dropped you, or ignored your friend request. I think you can still send them a message though. Might be something you just want to ask straight forward.

I do not know, I stink at Facebook!

That's how a friend of mine found out about the Prop8 Fallout end of a friendship.

Have you had any Prop8 fallout problems among the friend(s) that appear to have dropped you? I know you were a staunch supporter. I know many a friendship that has ended over this, and - yeah - the one where the Facebook drop was the telltale sign.

a 'friend' who would drop you over such a debate, youre better off without

(strictly IMHO)

That's how I found out about the end of a friendship over Prop 8 too. I was against, she was for. I'm sure she thinks I'm going to hell for supporting "teh gays". Oh well, at least I'll be with all my friends.
