No good advice, not being a parental type. Just hugs for you Betty. This is when being a parent can suck, I'll wager, good cop and bad cop. Someday, she'll thank you for all your rules, consideration and care, maybe not today.

Here's my parental advice (and yes, I'm a parent). Don't hold back information for strategic purposes of nailing your kid with it later.

Your child may be stupidly duplicitious because they are a kid. Don't stoop to that level. You be the adult and let them know you're on to them.

Seriously! This is turning out to be one of the longest afternoons I can remember.

No kidding, this is two days in a row for me is extreme time slowdown days. The next four days wil rocket by, no doubt and I will wonder where the time went. Dammit.

I guess it is all about perspective. I have a gazillion things that all need to be done at the same time and the time seems to be zipping by.

So naturally, I am posting on LoT :rolleyes: :blush:



ETA: And as I am on hold waiting for a client to pick up, I am listening to Christian choral music.

Hey Kevy, why don't you give us the stuff you need to do which will make you less busy and us more busy, thereby altering time-space so that we all feel time pass at a normal rate?
