My plan to leave after the 3:00 meeting has been completely derailed. I'll be here for another hour.

I confronted her about it all. Got her myspace login and had quite the learning experience. Quite.

This sucks. I almost wish I didn't know - but now I do and we're dealing with it. You think you know what's going on with your kids - but you don't. At least I didn't.

Or maybe I didn't want to.

I did a lot of stuff from the age of 15-16 or so and on. What was I thinking? When I look back at it from an experience point of view, I had the best time, with the best of friends. We were boy crazy and into sex, drugs and rock and roll.

When I look back at it from a parental point of view, I'm just sick to my stomach.

F.

I'm not quite ready to deal with this entirely - or don't quite know how to do it right perhaps? Brian (my dh) will be home soon and then we can address it further in some fashion.

Ick.

I'm one test closer to the end of the semester. My paper is first-drafted; always the hardest part for me is to actually *write* the darn thing.

Countdown: ASL: one final test.
Sociology and Stratification: one test, one paper.
ESRM: one test.
Research class: nothing.

Home is a good place to be tonight. I have a cat in my lap and a cup of hot tea which will soon be refilled with something alcoholic, I wager. Husband was thinking maybe tonight we'd open the bottle of good wine that we bought in Solvang.

I'm with you...it's 2:30 am Thanksgiving Eve and I'm struggling with my young-teen son to get off the Xbox Live and Go To Bed NOW. My young self is cringing...but my mom self is...well: tired. Still I know he needs sleep, and I do too. The real problem is I don't exactly model good behavior here as I often stay up late on my favorite internet/online diversions... Drat!
