I went over to El Mio to help clean yesterday, and instead was put to lighting and decorating their 12-foot Christmas Tree. WIN.

(Tours today went exceedingly well.)

Glad the tours went well! It makes me sad to live all the way out here and so far away from everything.

Anyone else entering Finals Season in college? I'm getting tired of studying for Ethics, Intro to Mass Communication, and working on a project for radio class as well as a project for television class.

Interesting. I've never seen that error myself, but we are apparently having some CPU usage issues on the host. I'm working to fix that to avoid being forced into paying for dedicated hosting (at more than 10x the cost).

Since nobody else ever mentioned outages I just assumed it was on my end. Our internal proxies go wonky all the time causing various access errors..

Ghoulish Delight 12-01-2008 10:37 AM

I'm trying to get the host to give me more detail on the supposed CPU over-usage. They haven't said if it was a one-time occurrence or if it's happened repeatedly or regularly. I do know that the average usage is at about 9%, so it's not like the board is continuously eating cycles. What's particularly odd is that I haven't touched the software in well over a year and I haven't noticed an appreciable change in board usage in at least that long, so I don't really get why this is suddenly an issue.

Not liking the cold. Too cold to bike. Yuck.

I didn't do any homework over the weekend and should have. Oh well. I'll get it done. Test Wednesday, test Thursday. Next week two tests on Wednesday and a paper due.

No problem.

I just spent the whole weekend wallowing in lazy. So today, now that it's Monday, time to get my butt in gear. I have a lot of things to do and once I finish finals and work, I want to be able to go play.

It could be worse. My co-worker in IL said it's a high of 34 and snowing.

alphabassettgrrl 12-01-2008 10:54 AM

Snow is the biggest reason I don't live in the Midwest. Other than that winter business, the midwest is a nice place, the people are good, all the good stuff. It's just too cold in the winter.

I'm a wimp and I don't care.

Snow is a great place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there.
