I'm beginning to wonder if I'm ever going to use a heater here at all. It's December, and we don't have heat on. With someone home all day and us being upstairs and the place being well insulated we don't have a lot of heat loss. We haven't even put the blanket on the bed yet.

It may still never reach cold enough for you to warrant a heater, but for the record, January/February tend to be the colder months down here rather than December.

I've gone years without turning on a heater and we're in a cooler part of California than you.

Of course, I went most Seattle winters without closing all of the windows so maybe I'm not a good yardstick.

Our heater went on when the temperature dropped below 60 :rolleyes:

I'm running out of ways to procrastinate on paper writing.

Oh come on now - you can do better! There's tons of other things to do. :D

Just paid bills.

I took the day off work to write the paper, so I probably should do it.
