Now, I've never had any beef product at Jack in the Box but I have also never had a non-beef product that tasted any good so I tend to assume the same of the beef products.

Best fast food commercials though. So that's something.

Has anyone, really?

Well, In-and-Out has good burgers and crappy fries. JitB has good burgers AND good fries. It's not really a contest.

At in-and-out you can order the fries well done which makes a difference

If you think JitB has good burgers then you belong on the East Coast.

Susan gets them "light" which to me is weird. But then, she married me, so her taste is questionable to begin with.

One thing about their fries is that they are not consistently cooked from one location to another.

I've still never been to an In n Out. Won't go to the one here in SF, it's on the wharf and I never go there. Plotting a possible trip to LA in March, maybe then. Need to visit Pink's once in my life, too.

And once again LoT changes my life for the better.

Alex 02-11-2014 07:12 AM

Not much better. Well done doesn't make them much better (but it makes them a little bit better).

Ghoulish Delight 02-11-2014 09:33 AM

Yeah, even well done I'm not a fan of the fries.

I love the burgers. Usually get them without cheese.

For fries, 5-Guys.

To me, the In-N-Out fries vary greatly. Sometimes, they're quite good. Sometimes, it seems like each fry has been cleaved off of some strange styrofoam-like potato composite.

I wanted to try 5 Guys yesterday to see if the fries were truly "Da'am," but my son said they're no good. So, we went to In-N-Out.

Our neighborhood sports bar Thai place makes good fries. Not sure that does any of you any good.
