Your son is incorrect. 5-Guys fries are amazing.
|
I shall study them. If I agree with you, it wouldn't be the first time my son and I disagreed on the subject of proper nutrition.
|
5-Guys has (have?) Cajun spice fries which are fantastic, and they also have unspiced fries, which I've never tried. I need to remember to ask for them well done next time since they usually come out kind of soft. Not a fan of the burgers, though.

Important tip - unless you have > 5 people with you, order the SMALL fries at 5 Guys. One small order is easily enough for 3 people.
|
5 Guys fries are gross, although I quite like the burgers.

Actually, all discussion of relative fry quality is rendered moot by this place. They win.

Interesting. Strange place to sell potato food, but whatever.
Perhaps it's sacrilege to say so, but the absolute worst fries I've had in maybe ever are the garlic fries at AT&T Park. |
Yeah I was unimpressed. Same goes for the ones at Dodger Stadium. Garlic fries made en-masse are rarely if ever good. It takes a delicate touch and a guarantee of timely/hot delivery, none of which are particularly achievable by stadium concessions.

Errrr.....bacon.
