Hey, I'm from Vancouver, WA. I may have gone to high school with John. In fact I think there was a John in my class.

Though unlike most spam somebody actually did the work of looking up a correct ZIP code for Vancouver.

Yeah, I realize that now. *smacks forehead*

How many Black Friday tramplings/beatings/stabbings will result in deaths this year?

So, Mannheim Steamroller is an expensive ticket to sleep through. But on the other hand it is tolerable when you only experience 10 minutes of the 90 minute show.

Think I wa out within 46 seconds of the show starting.

So what do you think of Massively Multiplayer Online Shopping. Apparently it's a thing now.

This tradition, known as fukubukuro, goes back at least 100 years. While poor shoppers like myself can’t afford a ticket to the land of the rising sun to experience the craze first-hand, Little Black Bag, a recently launched Los Angeles-based startup, is bringing the ritual to online shoppers in the United States.

I'm going to go with: No Thanks.

I wouldn't do it, but only because I wouldn't do any shopping that requires any additional effort beyond the 10 minutes I'm willing to spend in a store (or online retailer).

But the concept of grab bags doesn't strike me as particularly Japanese. Setting up a system to exchange seems like a reasonable next step. Heck, I seem to recall last year it wasn't uncommon to see a friend excitedly post about having bot a Woot Bag of Crap and then following up a few days later asking if anybody wanted whatever it was that they got.
