I watched him walk on the moon on a game room TV in a Florida hotel when I was seven. It was amazing.

What amazes me even more in retrospect was how we could go to the moon in 1969 when you still had to screw with the vertical hold on your TV at home to watch coverage of the Apollo missions.

I was six. We watched at the home of some family friends. I could not figure out why I couldn't see the astronauts on the moon with my naked eye. I mean, I should have been able to see little specks or something!
