Bad dreams!
are keeping me awake at night
Bad dreams!
I think I'm gonna turn on the light
Bad dreams!
how long are they gonna go on
(I don't know!)
Here comes the beast again!

Oh, nooooo -- the guy on Nightline said Constantinople.

Istanbul....not Contantinople (this could be going on for days.)

"I remember once when I was but a child of tender years
The day that I discovered the catalog from Sears
The people in the pictures they made me stop and stare
For who would guess that they'd be dressed in thermal underwear."

Right now, I have "City of Blinding Lights" by U2, and I honestly thought they'd brought themselves to a point where I could no longer listen to anything new they put out (didn't care for the last two albums, and Vertigo just grates on me) but this song is the same kind of powerful romantic (if not a bit cliche at moments) rock that I love from U2.

Quote:

The more you see the less you know
The less you find out as you go
I knew much more then than I do now

Neon heart, day-glow eyes
The city lit by fireflies
They're advertising in the skies
For people like us

And I miss you when you're not around
I'm getting ready to leave the ground

Oh you look so beautiful tonight
In the city of blinding lights
Aside from the refrains, the rest of the song is only OK, but the first minute of it is enough to make me totally love it. Until I hear it a squillion times!

Soup lines
Free loaves of bread
Five pound blocks of cheese
Bags of groceries
Social security
Has run out on you and me
We do whatever we can
Gotta duck when the sh!t hits the fan
