We were just talking about The Fountainhead! I was trying to come up with an appropriate movie for Monday Movie Night that fit with the architecture kick I've been on (blame TC Boyle). There aren't too many films about Architects.

Tonight we are having mini burgers with extra sharp cheddar, carmelized onions on some sort of little roll/bun thing.

With french fries, purple grapes and probably some salad.

I'm thawing out steaks, that's as far as I've got with the dinner plan.

I'm making meatloaf tonight!

Might drive up to Cafe Laurent tonight, or just have leftover. Too soon to tell!

Last night we ate at Plaza Inn during an impromptu trip to the park when a friend, whom I hadn't seen in some time, texted me that his family was at the park for the day.

Yummy!

Made this for dinner:

Roasted Garlic Butternut Squash & Apple Soup

But see the prep time? 30 minutes? It took me an hour to cut and peel that stupid squash. True, I didn't have a big vegetable peeler, only a small Pampered Chef peeler. Oh, and all my knives are old and need sharpening. And my daughter and I were giggling at how lame I looked trying to cut the squash, which could have made it take longer. But the soup is delicious. :snap:
