I don't know that Sun was so much "in Widmore's corner" as simply using him as a means to an end. And now that I think of it, Sun may be the easiest one to convince to go back. I bet she was tapping ol' Charles because he found the island once, he can find it again, and she wants to go back and find Jin (she doesn't seem like she was particularly willing to accept that he's dead).

This episode was better than last, though it still had its moments of ham-handedness. I'm hoping these last two episodes were the final fallout of the writers' strike which probably put them on a pretty tight schedule to get them done and that next season they can get back to good story telling and not lazy exposition.

Worst offender was the revisit of the Kate and Jack scene. That served absolutely no purpose other than to put the name "Jeremy Lanthem" in our minds. We learned nothing else through that entire exchange.

Bleh, whatever, I'll try to ignore all that. Still like the overall direction of the story. It's going to be a long summer.

We did learn that Kate didn't want to go back. Then, it was cemented by the appearance of Creepy Claire that Aaron shouldn't go back either.

Considering how pissed she was at Jack saying "we shouldn't have left", being pissed about "we have to go back" doesn't strike me as a giant revelation.

It seemed to me that she's bent on revenge against Ben and using Widmore would be the best way to accomplish that. Although it a good point that he found the island once so finding it again may be best left to him.

I think her initial grief and denial in the helicopter was common initial shock and grief for that situation. It seems pretty evident that he's dead, but who knows?

BTW it's Jeremy Bentham, not Lantham (for your lostpedia searches).

I liked the episode. We've now got not only the doings on the island to watch, but the current off-the island antics...and what happened to the people on the small boat that pointy-faced geek boy was driving? I know that they were extras, but perhaps only extras for the moment...I think we haven't seen the last of him.

I love the ghost-sensing asian guy. He got to roll his eyes at Rose and the red-head in this one, both great bits.

*shrug* it was a throwaway comment. I didn't find it as a giant revelation either. I was more freaked out by Creepy Claire. I'm just sad it came to this. I loved Claire and now she gives me the heebie jeebies.

That was my first thought but then I remembered that Ben had left the island before and come back. So maybe Locke was just on a mission to try and get everyone to come back to the island, to make things right.

I hope Sun doesn't give up Desmond. After all Sayid already lost his true love, I'd hate to see the same thing happen to them. I'm hoping she's trying to take down Whitmore but she could very well be after Ben too.

This is how much this show is not like the others. That scene, the opening scene of this year's finale, was a continuation of the end of last year's finale. An entire year has passed connecting two halves of a scene!

I love Lost!

Yes, I know, I just wish that the second half was actually interesting and not pointless.

That was one depressing episode. As soon as Jin took off running you just knew he'd see the helicopter take off.

Sun said they weren't the only ones to leave the island. Perhaps the rafties managed to land on some island too.

Now we know how the O6 were derived and who the other 2 were that "didn't make it".

Walt. HUGE! But it was nice to see him.

Where did Sayid and Hurley end up going?

Creepy Claire was creepy. And pissed.

I completely agree with Gn2Dlnd. I loved that they connected the scenes and showed us who was in the coffin.

RStar, I think it will be a new online game. It was a commercial in the last few minutes of the show. After I heard "volunteers" I looked up and saw it said "sponsored by ABC Inc".

Did anyone watch Good Morning America to get the alternate endings?
