Van Gogh's Starry Night in "3D"
Spoiler:

lindyhop 01-08-2013 10:15 PM

The organizer who has been hosting dancing on Saturday nights at the ESPN stage in Downtown Disney (AKA Carnation Plaza in exile) announced that the dance would be in a Grand Californian ballroom one Saturday night in February. He created a Facebook event so they could get an estimate of how many people might attend and within about 48 hours something like 700 people said they would. They were planning for about 300 or so. Now they're having to backpedal and explain that RSVPing for the event is no guarantee you will get in because of limited capacity etc. Oops.

Yesterday, it was PNWSnowmaggedon. Tonight, everything is melting, and the wind is blowing. It feels like the Chinooks, but I know better- those don't hit until mid-February. It's like a false promise of impending Spring. Meanwhile, wild animals roam our halls, tweaked by the creaking of the house and the howling of the wind. Hyper little ****s.

*sigh* ...and still you tease me, Wendybeth.

Hey I checked the weather there in Australia, It's not THAT bad. In fact it's about the same temp as here in DC. Overcoat and gloves weather.

Oh wait, you use Celsius don't you? Never mind.

Kevy Baby 01-09-2013 01:38 PM

I feel you pain everyone. It is a bone-chilling 64° F (18° C) here.

lashbear 01-09-2013 03:48 PM

18 C ?? That's WARM !! I was walking around Matsumoto in Japan in a singlet and shorts at 39 F temperatures.

If you quit giving Tori and her friends energy drinks they'd settle down. :p

I'm always amazed by how dirty my glasses get before I notice they need to be cleaned, and how crisp the world looks after I do.

Yes, it's depressing to have one's bracing morning cocktail in a dirty glass.
