Well, as much as I consider myself tough when it comes to heat, I am a humidity wimp. We think it's bad when our humidity, during the monsoon months, gets above our normal 6%.

I love June Gloom.

Now, where's my Joy Division?

Heh, I'd love to, but since everyone there knows I have one I can't pull it off. I think I'm going to say that my cell phone is for personal use and I can be reached via my work email. If they say anything else I'll remind them that I did ask for a company phone and was told since I'm not being paid to be on-call that I don't need a company phone. That will take care of both aspects.

I'm feeling a bit out of sorts. I have almost COMPLETE new technology to learn. New Mac, new camera, new printer and, now, new phone. I'm very confused and it's making it difficult for me to work effectively.

NA and I will always disagree about weather. June Gloom makes me cranky as hell. Especially since I missed the first heat wave while I was in Alaska.

Gimme dat SoCal summer!

Granted, we only see a couple 110+ days here, but our humidity is a tad bit higher than yours plus our air quality is MUCH worse than yours.

I live in Bakersfield.

Tehachapi is usually 10 degrees cooler than down here.

You just reminded me I need to call my sister.
