Anyone else watching Downton Abbey? Someone did a "if last weeks episode was entirely on Facebook" thing, and it totally nails it.

So, I met some of the Kings players last night, and the one I ended up getting to chat a little bit with (Kevin Westgarth) was traded to Carolina Hurricanes this morning.

Crossed the threshold of my gym yesterday for the first time in over a year. Hopped on a bike and rode 10 miles to start. I guess I overdid a little. Feeling it today. Going back for more punishment today, too.

Went to the doc last week for the annual and all numbers we're good. Fasting BS was under 100, HC1 was good and all he did was ream me about my weight, I gained 4 lbs in 6 months. He's right, but damn, give me a little credit buddy!

Dammit, I'm SICK of being sick! Day 12 of the creeping crud...

We were sick pretty much all of December, and into January. What kind of sick cooties you got, Jim? We had the sinus faucet that couldn't be shut off- Tori resorted to just stuffing tissues up her nose to stop the deluge. So wrong- at her age, those tissues need to be stuffed somewhere else! ;)

I just concluded a call that took a while to complete. It was a very simple procedure, but there was about 15 minutes of us just waiting for the process to complete. At the end of the call, this conversation happened.
Caller: Thank you very much for doing that, I know it was hard.
Me: You're welcome, but was just long, it wasn't hard [realizing what just came out of my mouth] That came out weird...
Caller: wooOOOO!
Then she laughed heartily. Which was a relief!
