That must've been Matterhorn Fan's cat. She's mad bcause she invited her mommy o come visit and she said no.

I've never seen a Red Cardinal. Seems odd since I've seen all sorts of other wildlife.

My inlaws had a cabin in the high country of AZ and there were the most beautiful birds I had ever seen there. Blue Jays as bright as the afternoon sky, hummingbirds of all hues, and red headed woodpeckers that were simple stunning. I think birds are cool.

I saw a red bird of some kind smeared across the front of Superman: The Escape (at least, I think it was a red bird, it might have just ended up that way)

I have a fondness for the large-scale birds. Swans, Pelicans, Egrets, Herons, etc seem to end up be my favorites.

And often tasty

I think the two may be mutually exclusive, though. I don't really enjoy watching chickens or ducks, but I enjoy eating them. Hummingbirds....a bit small for even a light snack.
