That is oddly comforting and discomforting information.

Where does your facial hair fall?

I can't sleep but I'd really like to. I can't even think of anything productive to do that wouldn't wake the teen. Ho hum

So, my wife thought it would be fun to break her leg for Valentines day. I dissagree....

But a left disital fubular fracture with mild displacement is what she got. If it's not one thing.....you get the picture.

Oh my, I am so sorry to hear that. I hope she can recover quickly.

Ouch!!! Hope it heals up quick.

Oh no. I hope she feels better soon!

Thanks guys. We go to the specialist Monday to see what the outcome may be. But right now she is unable to do anything by herself. After 4 back surgeries she is not ambilitory enough to use crutches, and needs to be pushed in the wheelchair to leave the bed at all. This requires 24 hr help, which is not easy.

So.....

I know most people don't understand it or think it must be the most boring vacation ever, but I'm enjoying myself.

Lani is off for a week on a Disney cruise. I didn't want to go but rather than have two weeks this year of vacation without the other, I decided to take one at the same time.

So I flew into Orlando with her last Friday and have been driving around the Southeast ever since. Not really site seeing (very brief stops in Savannah, Charleston, and Myrtle Beach), just driving. Almost 1200 miles (currently in Chattanooga, was on the South Carolina coast when I woke up) since lunch time on Saturday.

Staying off the interstates and just enjoying seeing places I've never seen before. Just in my own head all day. Very relaxing.

So. 5 Random Minutes of North Carolina. Boring perhaps but good for me.

Also, I'm simultaneously pleased and appalled that this exists ("South of the Border" is a play on words since it is just on the South Carolina side of the border with North Carolina).

I could see solo-exploring being interesting. I'm glad you're enjoying your vacation!
