So, I guess the signature image size limiter isn't working.

Soooooo, what's with the religious conversion fervor I've been experiencing in my neighborhood lately. The Jehovah's Witnesses, the Baptists and the Mormons are having a showdown in Wrigley. They are on every street corner in their suits and sensible long skirts handing out pamphlets and other goodies on request. What's up? 666 is over.

Interesting. Maybe it's just that time of the year. I had a Morman duo stop over for a chat this morning, around 8:15am. I was polite when I declined but geez, 8:15 on a Saturday? They are lucky I didn't gig last night. I can't imagine they received many warm welcomes this morning. :)

The police are making their annual "give us money" telemarketing charity thingy. I used to be able to politely get them off the phone with a "I'm sorry, but that's just not in my budget this year," but I guess they're wise to that by now.

He tried to get $35, but that wasn't in my budget, so he "just wanted to get everyone involved at a level they were comfortable with," so told me I could donate just $10. He seemed sympathetic that my finances were tight, but then told me that school would be starting up again soon, and that they needed money in their scholarship fund because so many of these kids had lost their parents--some of them both parents!

I guess the "I'm not interested, thank you" followed by a quick hang-up is the best response to these calls. I like to be polite, but sheesh...

I ran over a squirrel the other day. It was in the middle of the road, looking at me as I approached. We must have been having the same thought that if we move a bit to the side, I will miss the squirrel and the squirrel though it would dodge my tire. --- Oddly enough it put my tire and the squirrel in a direct path.

Ka-Chow! It's just fun to say. :) I read that the writers asked Owen Wilson to make up a signature line that sounds like a lightening bolt. In retrospect, "Ka-Chow" really is something Wilson would say.

Sooo....I made an appointment for a haircut this weekend but yesterday I had one of my best hair days ever. It's like my hair went "oh sht, better get my act together before she really gets bored and goes for the short cut!" I actually cancelled my appointment.
