Lani is off for a week on a Disney cruise. I didn't want to go but rather than have two weeks this year of vacation without the other, I decided to take one at the same time.

So I flew into Orlando with her last Friday and have been driving around the Southeast ever since. Not really site seeing (very brief stops in Savannah, Charleston, and Myrtle Beach), just driving. Also, I'm simultaneously pleased and appalled that this exists ("South of the Border" is a play on words since it is just on the South Carolina side of the border with North Carolina).

Questions abound, among them: 1) Did we catch you in a secret pop music wallow? 2) Did you stop at Porky's to get your ass kicked?

Actually, those are all my questions.

1) No, I had it on a random news station and didn't want anybody to read anything meaningful into whatever was being said (driving 10 hours a day I'll do time on pretty much all of them). So right before I started I hit one of the preset buttons.

2) I considered it. But decided to wait for Porky's II later on.

Rose got a bitchin' new tattoo yesterday...

One of these days I will learn to go to public gardens during the growing season. :) Huntington Gardens were still beautiful, especially the Japanese one, but a lot of things were still sleeping.

As of last Wednesday evening, I have a nephew.

I'm glad facebook still doesn't support Gifs.
