Glad you're having a good time, Moonie!

I've been both very productive and very lazy today. Did get a plant put into the ground, got my plants watered, got some things picked up and some laundry done, and we finished off the leftovers from the last couple days. Hound got a walk, and hubby fixed the run-on toilet.

But somehow I feel like I should have done more. Didn't even get to the beach for wave pictures like we'd sort of planned. Oh, well, there will be other days.

Going down tomorrow to take the Dining with the Spirits tour on the Queen Mary. And spend the night. Should be fun.

I highly recommend the haunted tours of the Queen Mary. There are slight differences between them, but they all go to the same locations. Pool, room B340, boiler room, engine room, and a lot of the otherwise not-available corridor spaces. We had a very entertaining guide, and a fantastic dinner at the restaurant. Saw part of the maze area that they use during Dark Harbor.

And the rooms are very much like they were in her sailing days; just a few upgrades for modern life. Like everybody gets their own bathroom now. Very comfortable.

So they let you sleep on the ship? That sounds like a lot of fun!

Sure did- the ship's a hotel! Three decks of staterooms. It was fantastic.

He notices the logo. Could it really be ...yes, actually it really is (SFW but biological).

No sale.

I remember seeing those in the Sky Mall catalog a while ago and thinking the same thing.

Today marks one of the great rights of spring.

I changed the setting on the house thermostats from "Heat" to "Cool"

Heady stuff to be sure.

Talking about rites of spring... Sneezing.

With some crazy April winds, our office is full of sneezing fits.

So I got to see the Indiana Jones exhibit at the Santa Ana Discovery center. Good stuff! Slow picture day, only took 149, but will get them edited down and posted on Flickr.

What is the funniest or most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you while making a movie?

Well, for better or worse, there have been many funny and embarrassing moments on sets over the years. If I had to pick one that was both, I guess I'll go with one Friday night on ALWAYS, a Speilberg movie. I was the second assistant director on, when Steven asked me to get him his formal yarmulke. This request threw me into a bit of a panic, since, even though it was shabbat, I had never known Steven to be that religious and I certainly didn't know he had a formal yarmulke--or even what that was--or where I would find it. Thankfully, I finally realized he was actually asking for the all-terrain vehicle he used to get around the set in Montana--his four-wheel yamaha.
