I've mentioned this place before. It has really good prices, it is right next door to a very nice BW Cavalier hotel. The BW has firerings but it is a bit more expensive than the Sands.

The Sands has nice rooms, the restaurant next door is pretty nice, too, and, a nice place to watch the sunset and we always go for a little run along the beach when visiting.

These are the most close to the Castle.

Check the website for the rates but call and see if you can get better, too. The BW sometimes says nothing is available because they want you to book two nights. I always call directly and just get one.

tracilicious~I wish I could pull the info out of my head....it keeps looping but just can't think of the names, dates, etc. But, it is fascinating.

Yes, by all means, spend your day scouting hotels, and tell us which in your opinion is the swankiest.

:)

Ummm...I may have to fight with The Boy about this. He will think because we are at the coast we will need to go to the beach. Silly Boy.

Actually, if I tell him who I am looking for, he will be happy to help.

I was being facetious. Enjoy your day. Scouting hotels doesn't sound like all that much fun, especially for the Boy. But if you happen to, we'd love to learn what you think.

My favorite place is located near the hotels, on Moonstone Beach Dr (Moonstone Landing). I am just not sure when we will be going.
