4 Days till takeoff for Thailand. Yay.

As of today, for the first time in forever (at least it feels that way) my credit cards have 0 balance. I've paid the bastards off. Wow, it feels fabulous to realize I won't have a couple of bills to pay next month, with interest!

I got a raise at work and upped the 401(k) contribution with that percentage.

I've been a fiscal screw up so much of my adult life, finally learning and turning things around. Yay Me! :D

That is awesome! We are trying to get ours paid off too.

I feel you, a big fat '0' balance feels always makes be feel much better than anything I ever purchased.

Congratulations! So you're buying the next round right? :)

I just might, but the question is when you will next see me? I dunno!

Congratulations. Now, for the cards you just paid off, when you next receive a bill make sure to actually open it. A lot of people say "oh, I paid it off, I don't need to actually open the statement since it will be $0."

But depending on how you paid off you may still owe interest on a few days between cycle close and your payoff date, or a charge/fee that wasn't on there yet.

Thanks Alex! I'll keep an eye peeled on the accounts!

Oh, good for you! :) :) :)

Well Done !!! It's a great feeling. And I like Alex's advice. Stoaty got caught by that with AMEX.
