Sitting at work, not working. Sipping a white mocha. Wondering why the rest of my office never came back from their lunch break. :confused: Preparing to look busy for when they do.

Got up early and got out my tennies in preparation for hitting the treadmill, when Mr. Evil Flu-ey Aches and Fever hit me out of nowhere! :mad:

It's all because Saturday is quitting-smoking-again day...my body has apparently decided to start battling toxins early...

Let's see.....I cleaned up barf at 6:30 am and went back to bed, cuddling Chloe while my husband got the girls ready and off to school. I got up around 9:30, let my sick baby sleep and watched Strangers With Candy Season 2 until I went to wake her up to give her some water.

She got up for an hour and we watched Silly Symphonies while she ate dry cheerios and drank more water, then she went back to sleep. We both have a fever, and I have a major headache. I even turned down the offer of a delivered latte. I must be sick!!! :(

Telecommuting - sort of. Going to a meeting in the OC but missing the offramp while I daydream. Cruise neighborhoods I never knew existed, labyrinths without minotaurs. Get there late, but the speaker's just above me in the sign in - looks like perfect timing to me. Finish my coffee, still feel like snoozing. My brain travels to other places, chatting with other people who I wish were there. Box lunch and dodge a committee assignment. Nice ride home were fuzzy water rewards.

I have reorganized the bathroom cabinets. I feel victorious! I wish € cared. He doesn't. This is my own little obsession. But, it's the bad part of being The Housewife in this situation. He is not an organized person. I'm not much better, but when I try, I expect a parade - or at least a shopping reward at BR. :wheres my evil smilie?: hehehehe. I must be PMSing. I actually WANT to clean!

Today I took my sis to the dentist to get her wisdom teeth taken out. Her mouth is all puffy, and my mom has the flu.

Ugh. Not fun. I have to do the same thing soon. Bleh.

Frozen peas (in the package) make the best ice packs for after having wisdom teeth out. Seriously.

I'm currently sitting in civil procedure class. I should be paying attention because we're talking about motions for new trial and I don't really get it, but I got called on last week so I know I'm safe for awhile and I'm slacking off. (The case in the book involves a member of the band Boston, which is insufficient to gain my enthusiasm.)

Discovering ancient secrets as I tidy up my bedroom closet.
