Whuuuuuuuuu? I hope you're not counting on Morrigoon and I to repopulate the planet via this camping trip... ;)

Morrigoon 04-17-2007 09:54 PM

Cherny, do you like gladiator movies?

Alex 04-17-2007 10:37 PM

The craving is strong, so how about I upgrade myself to 80%. I'd be on my own though, in a rental car, and unable to commit to specific days until much closer to then.

So still the case that if it fills up I'm out.

Morrigoon 04-17-2007 11:10 PM

There's room for what, like 4 people per site? That's 20... pretty sure there'll be room.

If anyone's interested, I found some additional photos of the campground here.

innerSpaceman 04-17-2007 11:29 PM

Tecnically, there's room for 6 people per site. So we can have up to 30 people there!

Problem is, we can only have 10 cars. People and tentspace will not be an issue. Merely how many cars we can squeeze into. That's where we must economize as much as possible (in addition to squeezing all our foodstuff and other scented supplies into those tiny bear boxes)

So, we can have as many people as we can imagine ... as long as they hike into the Sierras and don't bring any food.

Morrigoon 04-17-2007 11:36 PM

LOL.

Well, I think we save some space by virtue of the idea of each site "hosting" a meal, because then we're not loading up on supplies for too many various meals each. Of course there is still lunch and snacks to be considered (as well as libations ;)) But seems like we've got quite a bit of room.

think there will be any opportunities for fishing anywhere?
(or am I alone in that?)

Alex 04-18-2007 09:37 AM

According to this, if you want to fish for the sake of fishing there are good pleasant spots but if you want to actually catch something worthwhile then it's not a great area.

blueerica 04-18-2007 09:47 AM

I think there are - but from what I recall the opportunities for catching might be a different story. Then again, the group I was with didn't seek anything out.

Not Afraid 04-18-2007 09:49 AM

Please fish and catch us some trout. Be sure to get up at 5 am to get the big ones, bring them back and have them cleaned so we can have trout and eggs for breakfast. Yum.
