Good- then I won't have to pack so much. (We're spending several days traveling to and from Yosemite).

Where Scenic Wonders is located (map)
General map of Yosemite area

Commmunity Map (Link)
Once you get to the community, this is the map to use. We are in Scenic Wonders which is on the top left side of the community map. We are going to have to wing it with parking and try and get as many cars into the parking area as we can, leaving the larger ones near the exit for transporting groups.

IMPORTANT INFO:
  • Check in is at 4:00 pm. I will be there right at 4 to grab the keys. If you get there early and want to hook up, we'll be in Oakhurst until about 2:30. My cell works in about 1/2 of my brother's house. PM me if you would like his house phone number.
  • Check out time is 11 am.
  • "Please leave property in the same conition it was when you arrived. Property will be inspected at the time of check out"
  • "Quiet hours of the community are from 10 pm - 8 am"
  • For road and weather conditions call 209.372.0200
  • Snow chains are required November - April
  • There are no stores in the immediate area.
If you want to do something cool, go to 7422 Yosemite Park Way Yosemite, CA 95389 in Google Earth and take a look at the cabin.

Important Phone Numbers:
Cabin Phone Nuber: 209.372.9200

Cell phones may NOT work at the cabin but may work in Yosemite Valley. To make outgoing calls on the house phone, you MUST use a Calling Card.

Y'all better watch out. I may just decide to carry out your threats and then you'll be sorry!

Do I need to post pictures to remind you what you would be in for?

I can help with that!

It's almost identical to this, except in black and white, and the skirt is much shorter:

Is it my imagination, or does KB have freakishly small legs? Still, he looks pretty good in pink.

I finally got trekking poles. I always struggle with small rocks and such, especially when coming back down, so that won't be a problem anymore! Now, I can be safe, and without constant worry that I'll stumble and break my ankle or something. (Seriously a silent fear of mine - having to be carried off a trail.)

I scored a gorgeous pair of Swissgear poles with compasses in the handles for $18 at WalMart, of all places. :D
