That's relief.........I keep having this feeling that the writers don't know what they are doing or where they are going so my first instinct when I see something like this is to think along those lines.....I so hope I am wrong with my suspicions.

Not the only one- I work with an asian guy that we tease about being bad at math.

Thanks to some assclown on YouTube, I found out who was in the coffin before I even watched the episode. It was in the "Related Videos" list of the one I was watching that wasn't even anything to do with Lost! I glanced down and the still is Locke in the coffin, with the title "Locke is in the coffin." Fvcker.

Has anyone signed up on Octagon and gotten an email? I submitted my info but haven't received anything yet. I wonder if it was eaten by the spam filter.

I signed up and haven't heard back. It's not in my spam filter either.

From what it sounds like, it's something to do with ComicCon in San Diego.

Maybe one of our resident ComicCon people have some more info?

Hmm. I recall that he was in the books as a suicide, but was likely killed by other means. I don't think the writers are leading us to conclude that he had to move the island at all.

I'm not so sure about that. Michael left the island prematurely and was unable to die (no matter the circumstances) until Jacob/Christian basically told him his destiny was fulfilled. If John was able to die, the island was done with him. (So maybe he did move the island. Or maybe he didn't.)

Yes, but it actually just proves that the writers really don't know what they're doing or where they are going:

Sawyer in casket in alternate ending #1 and Sayid in casket in alternate ending #2

Well, for one thing they outright said it was for red herring purposes only in the introduction to those videos, in case the real footage leaked out before the episode aired.

For another, it wasn't Sayid, it was Desmond.

That is exactly what I thought. Lost has a HUGE panel (audience-wise) at ComicCon SD every year.
