Nala's currently 7.5 pounds... she used to weigh about 14-15. They said she should recover just fine. :)

Good to hear Nala is going to be fine.

The current mix of posts about cat/kittens was a bit of unfortunate timing in my opinion.

I had to assist removing one from car fan blades/belts - kitty decided that the warm engine was a nice place to nap on a cold day. Happy to say that kitty mostly recovered, although had some permanent damage (limp, scars, etc.)

I have had SO many posts running through my head that will never see the light of day.

Glad to hear it's not just me. ;)

I got a lot of work done this morning, but I'm feeling completely unmotivated this afternoon.

I've been working on my quilt most of the day. It's been a fun day so far! Tonight is the Art Walk.

Just charged up and fired off my soda syphon for the first time in about 15 years. The old thing still shoots pretty well and is still good for a laugh.

I finally planted the 2nd planter on my hillside! I actually had a few too many plants to put in there, but I planted them anyway, and we'll see what results I get. I'm pleased to see that one plant I thought was an annual is actually a perennial. Does anyone know how long azaleas last though? Of all the plants I've put in on that hillside (eg: the 1st planter), the azaleas are doing the best.

So, I'm trying to get through the last bit of work before J coming home and Chicago next week. But, I couldn't be any less motivated.

I should put "keep job" under motivations to work right now... yeah...

Regarding Grey's Anatomy's season finale:
Spoiler:
Two down, the rest of the characters to go. This show stinks!
:D
