Ok, this is REALLY weird!

We JUST got back home from celebrating John's mother's birthday at Macaroni Grill. On the way home, we were listening to BBC on the radio and they were talking about the Tasmanian Devil being in jeopardy of extinction. John was the first to check to see if TAS had been born yet and while I was waiting for my computer to come up, I thought, "Hhhhmm..... TAS. If he ever misbehaved, Jen could call him her little Tasmanian Devil."

Then I read your comment. What are the odds that we would've JUST listened to a program about them?!

First of all, congratulations to the new parents. May all your days of parenting be as happy as this one, an if not, then may this one be good enough to get you through the first "I hate you and you don't understand me."

The odds that you'd have just listened to a radio show on Tasmanian devils is relatively low. The odds that someone on this board would have recently had interaction with something that would have seemed relevant to a separate mention of Tasmanian devils and therefore seem noteworthy at this moment would be much higher.

You guys never arrive on time because you always arrive early. I should have expected no less of your beautiful Theo. I'm looking forward to congratulating you in person and greeting the little mister for the first time. He's gorgeous and not old man turnip-like at all! So, so happy for you.
