Nook availability should happen very soon! The print editions just listed at Barnes and Noble yesterday. :)

I put your book in my Amazon cart so I wouldn't forget and the husband ordered it last night. My copy is on it's way, I can hardly wait to read it!

Last night, I had my first public book signing, during my hometown's Christmas tree lighting celebration. It went great. I sold a decent sized stack of books, and met a lot of interesting people, including several other local authors.

Here's how I was dressed:

The teen stole my new book. He says it would make a great movie. That seems like a rave review from a teenager, you should be proud!

That's wonderful to hear! As it takes place in New Zealand, I sometimes fantasize that I'll get a call from Peter Jackson someday. (It would be a much smaller scale movie than The Hobbit, though, and would not lend itself to being stretched to three installments.)

Once you get a chance to get your hands on it, I can't wait to hear what you think. And if you or your son are so inclined, by all means post a review at Amazon! I got my first five-star review there a couple of weeks ago. It was from my Mom. :D

PS - There are now two songs from the novel available for listening at my website. Scroll down to the embedded player to hear:
1- Heaven Song and Angel Sound - the anthem sung in Chapter One
2 -The Magpie's Christmas - a very silly song that is purported to be Father Christmas's favorite.

Great news! Cory Doctorow sure chose an attention-grabber of a headline. I guess I asked for it, but I hope I'm not de-friended or disowned as a result. (It's not really an atheist novel, even though I am.)

The comments are already a riot. I responded to a couple, but I could lose my mind if I keep that up.

Read my novel for free!

The full text of The Secret Feast of Father Christmas is available on my website for the next eight days. (Dec. 19-26) In fact, it's up a day early, so go ahead right now if you wish. And tell anyone you know who might be interested!
