Last night I was ready to tweet "ho hum, the A's won again but scored ONLY 6 runs." So they went ahead and scored a couple more.

8 game winning streak, averaging 8.1 runs a game in that streak.

Won't last and I expect a streaky team so they'll probably manage to immediately fall back to .500. But nice while it lasts.

As well they should. What kind of wimp do you have to be to get hurt in a baseball brawl. Only slightly less dangerous than a hockey fight.

Well, Quentin did drop the appeal of his suspension, not surprisingly just before the Padres come to Los Angeles.

I know it's very early, but this season is becoming really hard to watch.
