As for the whole "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" thing.

When it came out in '86 I was working full time while also carrying a full university class load. For one of my very few nights out that YEAR a friend took me to see FBDO. As portrayed in the movie Bueller's care-free "all about me" attitude, just made me sick. The disrespect he showed to his "friends" and family was, for me, not the least bit entertaining. In an era where I was up to my ears in responsibility and working my ass off for a better tomorrow the entire tone of this movie just sent me over the top. It's the last, hell it's the only, movie I ever walked out of.

Your mileage may vary, but I just wanted to explain my point of view on this movie..

Makes sense.

I assumed you just had a general dislike for it. (Like me with Pokémon. I don't have anything against it, I just never cared for it and hope it never comes back. Ever.)

Sorry to hear about Ferris, Moonliner. I can see how that would hit you wrong. I know I have movies like that, where everyone loves them, but something about the attitude is disgusting to me.

Uber, there are some awesome shirts in there! Definitely added to my million shirts collection. :D

I like the stuff at Glarkware.com

I've gotten some of their limited run Television Without Pity items.

My mom got me the Buffy bag after I sent her the link. It's so cute and funny. I love it. Glackware also did a great t-shirt for Deadwood. Ah, Glackware!

I'd laugh so hard if I saw a baby wearing that.

And, from Think Geek, GD and CP got me this shirt. Perfect.

Its gone? Wait, if its gone, then what exactly is it I sit in a room watching all those people do every Sunday for five hours?
They look like Pokemon cards to me. And then, Saturday...this saturday... I have ten hours of some thing that sounded like Pokemon regionals....
Hmm.. Pokemon is out?
Wow .. some mother I am... I wonder what all those people really are doing? serves me right for sitting there reading a book.
