ever wonder why it is we hurt ourselves so bad? ever wonder why it is we make ourselves so sad? we talk ourselves into our pain we find ways to be down when state of mind and attitude are oft the things that make us frown good thoughts good cheer a smile or grin are easy things to do it can make the difference in our lives and other peoples too so for a change I'll give a smile and hold my good thoughts near and be thankful for the things that make this special time of year the holidays are what we make them so go out, have some fun celebrate, its not too late to enjoy a day in the sun go shop or gift or decorate its really up to you a merry xmas to you all and an happy new year too |

if the world could be turned
back upon itself if time could be placed back up on the shelf would I go back and change all the things that Ive done? to have just one more day for us in the sun to hold your young hand just one final time and remind us again of how once you were mine would it change what is now? could it change all the wrong? if we both could go back and sing just one more song would it lead here again? and bring back all the pain or could we go right instead of left again if I had the power you know I would try to make it all better to make the days fly but that powers not in me though I wish it were true so I'll just say I love you and hope you still love me too |
hand in hand to the very edge of eternity we’ve journeyed
at long last, standing together, staring into the singular sunset the choices are clear the answers are not to hold you here with me together mired in all the pain and sorrow we’ve carried for so very long or allow you to fly into the endless night alone free at last from the ties that bind to hope against hope to once again walk with you in the sunlight still carrying with us the weight of this burden as we continue on this endless winding road or loose the load from your wings and let you fly away condemning myself for eternity for surrendering you to the dark Shakespeare’s words thunder in my heart and mind to be or not to be I wish the answers were as plain |

and so it has come at last
unavoidable undeniable unbelieveable a familiar scent floating in an empty room is what remains of all I once knew an alien landscape surrounds me now resplendent with with unopened doors and roads not taken seen now appearing through the waning angelic mist of a world that now fades like the waking from a dream and so the journey begins |
