An interesting point. If the clerk had handed me an extra dollar (the cost of the double meat) I would have returned the money as I have done under similar circumstances in the past. Somehow I see the sandwich differently than the cash. I wonder why.

I wouldn't recommend it, if you start using such methods on your own it will only get you to the same place as I find myself: people will think you cold, humorless, and just generally a pain in the ass.

Instead I suggest you keep living your own life but come to me for oracular wisdom in times of need. That way you can maintain a friendly reputation and I can occasionally talk out of my ass, which tickles in a pleasant way.

It's ok, I like me.

Plus, smilies are evil inventions up there with tomatoes and corderoy. Like using pencils on a crossword, they promote sloppiness.
