And the stadium where the L.A. Galaxy (football, er, soccer) plays is called the Home Depot Center. Neither of which makes any sense whatsoever. (although the supporters group is called The Riot Squad. Reginald Denny anyone?)

i agree, coastermatt. "Rock you like a hurricane" was a bit over the top of decency and compassion. this was a half-time show, for cryin' out loud.

perhaps a more appropriate, crowd participation, good ol'-fashion singin' in-the-round of "Row Row Row Your Boat" would have put a smile on everyone's face.

I think it would be far more appropriate to offer residents of the city an opportunity to reflect on the error of their ways that surely led to their watery smiting. Might I suggest: "Sit down, you're rocking the boat"?
