Oh, do I need to mention that I would still fu<k Adrien Brody?

LOL! I typed that sentence in between typing I Love You to my husband. Is nothing sacred?

lizziebith 01-17-2006 05:22 PM

Nothing is sacred...Geena is welcome to come over here and the Mr. and I would just take turns...*admiring* her.

Jeff Goldblum thought I resembled Geena..........;)

lizziebith 01-17-2006 05:47 PM

You know...THE JEFF???? *WORSHIPS* Drool cup, please...

But what was Adrien WEARING? We are not stayin' alive.

Given the choices, I was pleased that Brokeback won. I still maintain that I think Capote was the better-made film, but it wasn't even nominated. I'm just glad that Crash didn't make the list (and hope it doesn't make the AMPAS nominee list either.) Which reminds me-- what does everybody think of Crash? I've been meaning to ask.

And my dark horse for the year (Amy Adams in Junebug) wasn't nominated for this-- but her buzz keeps growing, and I have hope.

Was thoroughly satisfied with all acting awards. I saw all of the performances and thought that those were really the strongest of each category (nominated, that is.) Am especially fond of Hoffman's performance. Masterpiece.

Oh, and nobody has yet noted that, among the LGBT characters portrayed by nominated actors, the winner for best actress in a drama portrayed a pre-op transsexual-- great performance there, too. There was another T character in the male category too.

And Ennis is totally gay.

I don't "know" him per se, but he flirted with me in a big way at an Oscar party a couple of years ago. Hehehehe. I made Jeff do a double take. I never make ANYBODY do a double take!

'Crash' sucked.
Hated it.
We could start a thread.
I could go on and on.
:)

Ok, enough with the Gay Cowboys and all the other films and TV shows I've never seen. I watched the Golden Globes in it's entirty for one thing - the people (half of whom I'm clueless who they are). My favorites of the evening include:

Ziyi Zhang - Loved her gown:

And of Course, Scarlet Johansen - who appeared particularly supple this year:

Also I have no idea who Debi Mazar is, but I loved her 1940's look - very swanky and pregnant too:

Rachel Weisz was also looking good:

Geena Davis was also a favorite of mine:

A nod to Kiera Knightly (who looks way better than Natelie Portman):

And of course there's Johnny Depp & Vanessa Paradise:

Those are may picks anyway - follow this link for lots of other photos

So, do we all know the universal hand symbol for supple? No? Let me teach you.

First, put your arms out, palms out, fingers relaxed.

Second, slightly move all the fingers on both hands as if slightly squeezing something.

That's it! Congratulations! You have said "supple" in the universal hand symbol language.
