Stealing things is low, but stealing photos and mementos is one of the lowest. You're stealing someone's memories.

:( My sister's house was broken into recently. Fortunately something scared the asshole off and he got away with nothing more than the laptop and camera that were sitting right near the door. But that doesn't do anything to shake that violated feeling. Assholes.

You might call antique shops in your area and let them know what to watch out for. Whoever took the stuff is going to have to sell it somewhere.

Very sorry to hear about your grandmother, Betty. I'm glad that she wasn't hurt or the place destroyed by fire. It could have been so much worse. Still, knowing that doesn't make up for what this has put her (and you) through.

The fvckers came back last night - and stole her car. The locks on the house had been changed - the windows with new locks - but they hadn't had a chance for the car... and since the asshats took off with a key ring I suppose I shouldn't feel too shocked. But there you have it - they came back and took it.

Just the fact that they came back is outragous! But what now - move Grandma out and then they'll just have free reign to the rest? Not move her out and have her fall victim if/when they come back?

I'm hoping they weren't bright enough to take it out of the country too quickly and that it's hanging around and will be spotted. It would be great to catch them driving the car and be able to get a little justice.

But can you belive it!?!!!! They came back and took her car!?!!!!

My first thought was I sure hope they get caught in the car. Stupid idiots. At least there's HUGE piece of evidence out there somewhere.
