As far as the topic goes, I wonder if the fact that he is on probation for doctor shopping might be the deciding factor in whether or not to charge him and/or what penalties he may face.
His lawyer claiming that he did nothing wrong doesn't really sway me. Don't they all say that? |
Good lord knows OJ was innocent.:) Lawyers don't lie. Surely they don't.

The spokesman for the state attorney said it most likely was not illegal- not just his personal attorney. |

I have listened to Rush, but not for very long. I found him to be grating, condescending, and pompous. I used to enjoy Al Franken (especially when he was on SNL and the early election/campaign coverage he did for Comedy Central), but I can't listen to him any more because I now find him grating, condescending, and pompous. Any time someone sets him/herself up on a pedestal and has a holier-than-thou attitude, I revel in seeing them taken down. I care not if they are Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, or whatever. |
It mystifies me that people can listen to talk radio. A colleague of mine does and is constantly freeting over the latest political issue. I prefer entertainment without ulcers thank you very much.

I would find that so refreshing and compelling. NPR is about as close as it comes. (I hear a right wing sneaker somewhere.) |

I wonder if a stiff sentence will make Rush do hard time for this...

Funny, Rush didn't seem any taller last time I saw him on TV.
