And see - I am extremely short waisted, so short tops/low jeans just look normal on me. Long tops make me look like a potato with legs.

On the topic of the show - I have to disagee with you a bit GC - I think Angela was a bit of a naysayer on his dress, but I also think that his dress sucked and it seemed to me like he wouldn't let her do anything. He appears to have difficulty delegating.

Oh, and who besides me wishes that faux-British guy hadn't backed out of being on season 2? Him and Santino in the same show? THAT would have been fun!

Well, that was fast.

So, a miracle happened. I actually remembered to turn on the TV on the proper night at almost the proper time! I missed the first 15 minutes of last night's show, but I got most of it.

Anyone else see it?

Ponine 08-10-2006 01:39 PM

I did!!! Can you beleive it?

I thought some of the outfits were absolutely amazing. I like Bradly, but what an uninspired outfit. Robert needed lots of polish and maybe some large buttons. I could design a better outfit for Jackie O.

Spoiler:
I'm really glad that the Pam Grier outfit won. Makes my Nubian Princess proud.

I TIVO'd it, I'll be watching tonight.

I still don't have all their names down, but the "Cher" sucked. I liked the front of the "Marilyn", but I didn't like the butt. And the "Hepburn" chick sure did surprise again!

I guess I should be using spoiler tags.

Oh shoot... NA, please spoiler tag me.

Spoiler:
I adored that pink outfit. And I loved that he was able to say, I had a vision, I tried it on her, it'll never work.
And went with it. He changed it. Even though he knew she would hate the shorts, he knew that was what he wanted.
It was eye catching and beautiful.

I agreed with the judges about Robert's. It was boring, but that blue fabric he had first, was so much more classy. what did the one judge say? The one thing you could rely on what that Jackie was "impeccible".
That suit, lovely, and I might have worn it, was not.

Bradley... yeah. Now I have never watched this show before last night. Two and a half episodes.
I was mortified by his lack of conviction in everything he was doing. and the Cher thing? I mean, yeah, he could have done ANYTHING. He had total free reign with Cher, and I just didnt feel like he even tried.

Wht was odd was that I saw nothing redeeming in the Hepburn dress. I didnt see a reason to need one in every color.
But I was fascinated by the monroe dress. totally fascinated. I wanted to touch it. And I was glad I felt that way aobut the dress, because before that, having never seen it, I was wondering if he had the talent to out someone else for the pattern books.
