Try The 4400 on USA. The wife likes it, but I don't much care for it. Also, I'm not sure if it is Science-Fictioney enough.

Oh, I didn't think to add Monk or Psych because their seasons already ended.

Matterhorn Fan 09-26-2006 06:15 PM

The 4400 looks like it might be difficult to jump into mid-fourth season. (?)

I've been watching DVDs of Arrested Development, just finished up season three. It was good.

Monk is about the only show I watch regularly.

That's how I watched LOST. I have never watched it on real time TV yet. I got the first season on DVD at Christmas, and just watched season 2. Now I can watch the third season in real time. It was so nice without comercials I'll have to get a DVR.....

And yes, I think LOST is going somewhere. I just don't know where......

scaeagles 09-26-2006 08:45 PM

Lost, 24, Survivor.

Those are what I have to see when they are on or I will stay up and watch them on the DVR if I get home late that night.

I will also record Mythbusters, but that can wait.

I used to watch Smallille, but that got...predictable. I'll probably watch it, but it won't be a priority.

What - no "Pants Off Dance Off" fans?

It was terribly pridictable in the first season. Some kid with powers because of "meteor rocks". Every single time......

But it got a lot better after a while. I think they got a new set of writers.

I forgot Eureca as well! Also a little predictable, but light hearted and a little funny.

The three shows I'm totally addicted to are:

Grey's Anatomy
Gilmore Girls
Veronica Mars

The shows I TiVo but would't be particularly bummed if I missed are:
CSI
24
Desperate Housewives
How I Met Your Mother
Two and a Half Men
The Office
House
Without a Trace
Cold Case
Boston Legal

I've watched the first two episodes of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, I'll probably add that to the second category, although it's Aaron Sorkin, so it can easily become a total addiction for me.

And of course there's my 4 day a week addiction: The Daily Show.
