Stuff my Mom and I did in London (and England) that I highly recommend:
  • See a West End show
We saw 10 in two weeks, but my Mom and I love theater.
  • London Dungeon
Very cool if you're into "dark" things.
  • Tower of London
Where else are you gonna see a diamond the size of your fist?
  • Stonehenge
Not that it's actually interesting for more than 15 minutes, but still worth a visit.
  • Visit Stratford
Take the Globe tour and see a Shakespeare show in his home town.
  • If you plan on going outside of London at least semi-frequently, get a BritRail pass.
  • If you love CDs, especially hard to find cast recordings, you must visit Dress Circle!
  • Have sex with an anonymous stranger you meet walking down the street in King's Road.
Okay, I did that on my own, Mom wasn't with me that time. ;)

We need to get both of these. I've also been reading about the Oyster card. I need to sit down and do a comparrison of options.

Our biggest question is how to get to the hotel from the airport.

We'll probably stay in London since we've been to Paris twice in the past few years....unless I get a hankering for some sparkley costume jewelry that I always find in Paris. ;)

It just occurred to me - you'll be in the UK for St Patrick's Day! What a fun time to visit Belfast...
