Not to mention "gutter ball," "double wood" and, of course, "grandma's teeth."

I'm letting the day pass and doing dinner with my family and drinks with a few close friends. That Saturday we already have other party plans but *for* my bday we are going wine tasting in Temecula and to Vegas a few weeks after that (once the playoff schedule for round 2 is released).

Strip Club.

(If you plan it right - amateur night!)

I'm with €... Weeklong sounds like a good plan, and allows those of us with insanity in place of a life to join up for a bit of it. :)

How about a trip to the Tiki bar? ;)

You could spend your 30th like I spent mine; drinking copious amounts of alcohol, crawling into your closet – sobbing uncontrollably because your life is over now that you’re 30, and waking up in the morning drooling on your shoes…….

Then again... maybe not.

For my 30th, my roommate wanted to throw a Logan's Run party, where all my friends would chase me as I fled towards the party destination...in this case, a bar.

I declined. I wasn't running on my birthday.

But it did sound like a fun way to kick off one's 30s. Heh.

If you had the weekend (unfortunatly you don't) I would have suggested a Catalina Get-away.

Oh well, maybe next year.....

Yes I agree with those that think you should spread it out a week. Every day should have something special in it for you.

Of course I am probably going to have the same question when September gets closer and my 25th B-Day draws near. LOL

I can't even remember the last birthday I celebrated. I don't know, I am inclined to say, let it pass.

But, there is always Canters on Fairfax. I've heard that if you tell them its your birthday, they'll give you the same grumpy service, lousy coffee & half warmed over food they give the un-birthday folks, except with a candle in it.*

But you know, the Cheesecake Factory has been sounding pretty good, lately.

*Plus Rodney Bingenheimer, will don a birthday hat and stare at you longingly from his corner booth.
