Well, the story goes that Grimace ate him, and felt so badly about it that he had plastic surgery, changed his name to Barney and now entertains hundreds of kids on PBS. :D

Grimace had a gender re-assignment surgery... cause you know that Miss Barney is a big ol' girl....
