I think it's pretty sh!tty that people who got the books early posted spoilers. That's like the people who go and get the book on the release date, then flip to the end and shout it out loud. Totally lame.

I like spoilers. As long as I choose to seek them out. If they are hidden- I make the choice- whereas if they scream it out so I have no choice that would be annoying.

I've had to completely avoid your spoiler discussion... I don't want to know anything about anything till I read it for myself. If I hear so much as allusions to important scenes, I'll start "watching for" them.

You think you have it rough. I have to avoid the spoilers until the 7th movie comes out. That's like... 3 years away.

Neither spoiler thread (MC and LoT) gives anything away openly in the posts- but the temptation may prove too much ;)

If your memory is anything like mine, in 3 years, you will have forgotten anyway.

I'm with MG. I've read a lot of them (and half contradict one another so obviously some if not all are wrong) but it won't stop me from enjoying the book. I like to speculate and it's interesting to read what other people think.

I also respect people who don't want to know. I have one friend who's read all the spoilers and one who hasn't. I haven't said anything to the one who hasn't because I know she wants to wait. My other friend and I have had many speculation discussions. I wouldn't want to ruin it for anyone who doesn't want to know. If the thread says spoilers - or honestly if it's even on the subject and I didn't want to know then I'd just avoid those threads, or newspaper articles, or tv shows.

I don't want to know and I have no intention of listening to the radio/watching tv or by any media until I finish the book. Good thing it comes out on a Friday ;)

Ok i'm not gonna i've kept myself away from the posts and news media til my book arrives. I preordered it today online a little while ago with a gift card from my best friend she sent me this year so it didn't cost me a thing. I'm too lazy to get my ass to the bookstore to preorder it...lmao yes i gave into peer pressure and maybe i'll actually read this Harry Potter book. I've tried to read one of the previous books a summer or two ago but couldn't get into the book but maybe this one i will. So those of you who read it this weekend can discuss i'm gonna stay away from the discussion til i get my book and read it.
