Plus the E-911 law requires that all new cell phones have the ability to precisely identify their location (ostensibly for use when calling 911). So most people have already consented to an ability to be tracked way more pervasive and potentially useful (and nefarious) than embedded RFID microchips. |

Of course - I can choose to leave my cell phone at home or to not have one. If I had something in my arm, it would be much more difficult to not bring it with me.
