I hope those who went enjoyed themselves. I wanted to go but I didn't leave work until close to 7:30 and was dead tired.

Wheeeee!
Good times. |
Twas good. I forgot how good that film was. Baz Luhrmann's a freaking genius, I don't know how he manages to make things so bizarre and yet WORK. Pity this was the last of the season, I would've loved to continue attending.
Next year, I guess. Speaking of which, has anyone checked out the upcoming season for that center? Looks like a really good one! |
![]() *swoon* I love that movie so much. Fun evening :snap: |
That was so cool how Ewen and Nicole came out and spoke to the crowd before the movie. Oh wait, it was just some adorable bald guy who works for OCPAC.
I have not seen MR since it first came out on DVD, and never saw in the theater. I loved it! Good times, god times. |
It's funny, as much as I love the movie, I found myself wishing this time through that there was more original music. I totally get and appreciate the effect he was going for with the whole popular song thing, but for some reason watching it last night I felt it would have been even better if it had produced some new music that matched the artistic caliber that the look of the film had.

When I saw the big "L'Amour" sign on his building in the movie, I knew I'd seen it before somewhere, and then it hit me: http://www.e-reinhardts.com/archives/stage/closeup.jpg
That's a scene from Baz Luhrmann's production of La Boheme! So that begs the question: is that sign a real fixture? |
