Thanks everybody, I appreciate all the kind words. I went to San Francisco for a week --- hobo style. Well, sort of, anyway. I brought a sleeping bag and a change of clothes and bummed around the Bay Area. I slept on the floors & couches of various old friends, ex-girlfriends, family, etc. It was fun and a little exciting, but I am not very good at 'roughing' it. I found I could only stand to sleep on a floor for about three hours tops, though that meant I started each day very early. Usually before dawn. I had never seen so many sunrises in all my life. I must admit there is something very beautiful & mysterious about San Francisco in the wee morning hours. On my first day I wandered over to the AT&T ballpark. There was a run going on (for breast cancer, I think) so there were plenty of booths passing out free fruit and energy bars. My friend and I stocked up on some food and had a small picnic at the end of the pier. It was cold, but nice. Later on we watched as they set up the floats for the start of the Filipino Day parade. We even walked along side the LBC cable car with it for a block (they didn't seem to mind and my friend was filipino anyway, so it worked, though i had to literally drag her out onto the street to do it.) The rest of the week went more or less like the first, except with different traveling partners.

Anyway, since I am almost sure nobody ever returns to a birthday thread, I'll keep it short and say,

Thanks for the birthday wishes.

I do, especially when I haven't said "Happy Birthday!" yet! As I noted in Libraryvixen's thread, we Leos get to party for an extended period of time, mainly because we're special. I know this is so, because Mr. Rogers said so.:)

This is what I get for being a slow pole! Happy belated Tref! I agree with WendyBeth completely! Exert your Leo self and strut like it's your birthday for the whole month.
