I have now had my annual potatoes. I feel, um, logy. But good.

Happy Hanukkah, all. :) Lit some candles, called my parents.

We have a menorah at the library that someone donated. Wooden, stands 5 feet tall. I got designated to write up an explainer for staff and patrons alike, and I was entrusted with the blue and white candles. (psst - I'm the only Jew in the building.) No fire of course, but still.

They sell little Hanukkah outfits for dogs at Target as well as squeaky Dreidel plush toys and blue and white bones that say "Kosher" on one side. I didn't buy any because I don't know if Thurston is Jewish or not. ;)
