We just got back a little bit ago from the NYE Swankathon. Quel soiree! Thanks again to Chris and Lisa, our fabulous swankadelic hosts! (and sorry about the spill in the bedroom)

I watched the NYE coverage on the Travel Channel. They had footage of fireworks from all around the world. It was cool. Some of the fireworks in Berlin were set to the POTC theme.

I've got bacon in the oven and as soon as Madz awakens we're off for three days at the parks. So far this year isn't bad.

after Stickboy got home from work, we were considering going to the Park for some dinner, before heading to the Launch Pad on our way to the Planet Cone... after a conversation with Bornieo on the cell phone we were convinced waiting in a 50 people line for churro was unacceptable (the Tomorrowland bathrooms by Autopia even had a queue!)

suddenly, it seems i was hit with the symptoms of food poisoning (from my own cooking). ahh, fond memories of 2007 indeed.

but, i know you all had a great time and that's what counts. we'll try again next year.

On the "I ain't as young as I used to be" score, I've got to remember to pass on the champagne.

Hangover?

No, reflux. Had me up half the night. Champagne and white wine get me every time, even if I've drunk a lot of water. So next year, I'll switch to port or maybe just stick to bourbon or single malt.

I threw up in nearly all of the Disneyland bathrooms, and even puked around the world aboard Small World- good times, indeed :D
