Oh yes, they were terribly uncomfortable. But a small price to pay for ridiculous trendy fashion.

I grew up in Michigan and we were all way into slap bracelets. Though, my elementary/Jr High/High School experiences were always riddled with me coming home from summer vacation wearing clothes and doing things that the other kids would soon be doing... not because I was a fashion leader or cool in any sort of way. I just saw it before they did.
