Am I alone in liking regional accents for place names? They're an important tool for building a sense of community. If the people of Pecos, New Mexico, or Sequim, Washington, pronounced the town name the way the rest of the country does how would they identify outsiders?

When someone starts expounding on development and management policy for the "will-uh-met" River then we can immediately know to just tune them out.

Hey... If Hoover can offer a chicken in every pot and a car in every garage, I can offer bacon in every home. My promise is far more economically feasible. And if some people don't want their bacon, well then... Tough tiddley-winks! I'm sure that in 1928 there were people who didn't like chicken, but Hoover still won! So there! :p

With all those exclamation points and Bush-like aggressiveness (I think he's said "tough tiddly-winks" at least once), not to mention sticking his tongue out at the end of his debated point, I think JW could be running for Congress.

The Jews and Muslims would never vote for a Bacon platform...
